Note: Earth 2025 is a faster paced game then Utopia, even though Earth is turned based. To play earth 2025 effectvely, you only need to log on once a day, for 20-30 minutes at the beginning of the reset, and then down to 10-20 minutes later. I tried to play Utopia, but its slow pace turned me off (not exactly sure how it works)

Utopia works in many diffferent ways, you could log in once a day, and in the beginning that is enough.

If you build a lot of of barracks however your forces return much sooner, and you will want to log in twice a day, so you can attack twice a day. And in war you log in more of course too.

When stco went down I moved to Utopia, it's a great game, but it takes some time to manage, to use it effectively you should download the help program at www.utopiatemple.com called Angel. It features built in calculators that tell you if you will win a battle, how much % houses you need etc. Everyone uses it nowadays.
