Subdomain?

I've been tihnking about moveing the forums to a subdomain (forums.failsafe.cc) Whould you guys like that idea? or should i leave it as is?

I whould say yes mate .... as me and u where Discusing traffic to FS the other day And its geitng quite high it chould slow things down haveing the site here as well so you got nothing to lose

Josh, moving the forum to a subdomain is quite tricky. As all of the files for the database/forum are linked here. It will be quite difficult to do.

And by the way Chris, we are only using about 300MB of bw every 26 days or so

Knowing Josh he'll probably have no problem doing it. Besides it's just a simple matter of moving stuff and changing the config file.

Moving to a Subdomain is easy. phpBB uses virtual (universal) links, all you have to do is move the files over and change one link in the Admin menu.

However, I don't see the point. People don't care about URLs and how easy they are to remember, etc.
If there are bandwidth problems, however, I would move it.

No matter, if you move it to a subdomain you use the same amount of bandwidth. No matter what.
